Who is responsible

The controller of your data is the school that runs this platform (ATENEA).

What data we process

Identification and contact data (name and email), your password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), your preferred language and academic usage data: enrolments, submissions, grades, teachers' comments and messages inside the platform.

What we use it for

To give you access to the platform, manage your learning (courses, activities and assessment), communicate with you about your courses and keep the service secure. We do not use it for third-party advertising.

Legal basis

Performance of the training relationship you enter into with the school when you enrol or sign up, compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention and recipients

We keep data while your account is active and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. Only school staff who need it for their work, and technical providers who deliver the service under contract, can access it.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
